Your dogs grooming session
When you and your dog arrive at the salon for the first time we ask you to complete a new client information sheet, this is so we have all the details of your pet on file including any health problems or concerns you may have about your dogs grooming.
We will discuss your requirements and offer advice if needed.
Firstly, we will do a basic health check on your dog checking for any lumps, bumps and sores that may need to be avoided during his/her grooming session.
Nails are then trimmed and ears cleaned and plucked (if required).
Following this we will bathe your dog in a shampoo suited to his/her skin and coat condition, your dog will then be dryed and styled following your instructions.
We usually say that each dog groomed will take approximately 2 hours although it is not always possible to do this for a number of reasons, large dogs may require extra time purely due to their size, long haired breeds may also take additional time or your dog may require extensive work due to poor coat condition. We will do our best to inform you as soon as possible if your dog requires extra grooming time and if there will be any additional fee.
Changes to our Terms & Conditions
Due to a large number of clients failing to keep appointments, we lost almost £2,000 last year alone!
Every one of our clients count - there are times when we have to turn clients away due to being fully booked and clients not cancelling appointments means that we are losing customers, As a small business in these hard finanical times we now feel it is fair that any appointments which are not cancelled with at least 24 hours notice, in advance, will be charged £10.
We appreciate that sometimes 'things' happen, which may mean that you are not able to keep your appointment or let us know in good time so our decression will be used in this instance.
